BETWEEN THE NUMBERS/ OUR READ ON THE MARKET
 
HIDDEN VALLEY RESORT SOLD??? Recent news articles indicate that the Buncher Group, developers from Pittsburgh, are the next owners of Hidden Valley. Although we have not seen the transfer at the courthouse what we have seen is new golf carts, improved maintenance of the golf course, fitness facility open full time, and local contractors telling us Buncher has been gathering bids for repairs and renovations of the ski and convention facilities.
 
What does this mean? Well, for one thing it is finally good news about this resort. It also means that Buncher, which owns and manages large industrial complexes in SW PA, can bring the capital, resources, and management to make Hidden Valley a player in the Laurel Highlands. We have no doubt that when Buncher acquires this property we will see significant improvements and a more positive real estate market. There is still time to buy at this resort and take advantage of  the best dollar value per square foot in the area.
 
SEVEN SPRING APPROVED FOR LIQUOR SALES. As reported in our last months newsletter, the referendum to allow Seven Springs to have liquor sales in Saltlick Township was approved and was the last restriction to their development plans at Lake Tahoe. The property at the top of the summit will allow for several years of additional home development and planned amenities. More in next months newsletter.
